We are located in the state of Maine. We are in the finest recreational area of Central Maine Highlands. From our Camps, you have access to thousands of acres of state's most remote and scenic country. No matter what you are looking for, you are sure to find it here, from hunting, fishing, hiking, bird watching or maybe you just like to explore our remote area with a 4-wheeler, if so, you can access all this from your front door.
Beech Ridge Camps is located a couple hundred yards from Schoodic Lake. Schoodic Lake is 10 miles long and 2 miles wide, the depth of the lake is 188 feet. The lake is one of the state's premier fishing areas. Schoodic Lake is one of the finest Togue (Lake Trout) fishing in the northeast. Our Brook Trout, Bass and Cusk is second to none. The water is crystal clear and is spring fed as this adds to our clean, cold waters. On our Summer days or nights, you can often hear the call of the Loons which nest in our coves.
We are only 1 hour away from Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park which offers many brooks, streams and ponds. The area has many fine hiking trails where you can spend hours bird watching, canoeing, kayaking or maybe you would like to go whitewater rafting on the West Branch of the Penobscot River, it is one of the finest in the state of Maine. This is an experience you will not soon forget!
